Natasha and Victor

Victor and Natasha Udintsev

Our story

We are Victor and Natasha. Victor was born in Moscow (then the USSR), and Natasha was born in Novomoskovsk, Ukraine, and grew up mostly in Vorkuta near the Arctic Circle in Russia. We met online in 1999 through a Russian ice hockey community, and in 2000 we started our life together in Europe. We married in Jülich, Germany, and we are parents of two children. Our journey has taken us through Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland. Since 2003, our home base has been Manosque in beautiful Provence, with a few years in Lausanne before returning to Provence in 2009. Victor works in scientific research and engineering and holds a PhD in Physics from Utrecht University, while Natasha is a trained historian. We love traveling, animals, ice hockey (especially the KEC Koelner Haie and Les Rapaces de Gap), computer games, great music and films, and good books. We also believe in living close to nature: our family lifestyle reflects that!

Our pets

Our home is shared with beloved animals: dogs, birds, and aquarium fish. In the past, we also had rabbits.
